Public high school teachers will walk off the job in select locations across the province, but not in Niagara.
The Ontario Secondary School Teachers' Federation will hold another-one day strike on Wednesday December 11th, but it will only impact the following school boards;
- Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board (Brantford)
- Grand Erie District School Board (Brantford)
- Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board (Belleville)
- Near North District School Board (North Bay)
- Rainy River District School Board (Fort Frances)
- Simcoe County District School Board (Midhurst)
- Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board (Barrie)
- Toronto District School Board (Toronto)
- Trillium Lakelands District School Board (Lindsay)
The District School Board of Niagara didn't make the list, so it will be a regular school day here in the Niagara Region.
But students can still expect to see information pickets before school, after school and during lunch hour. This is all part of the union's work-to-rule job action, which began on Tuesday November 26th.
The OSSTF held another one-day strike this past Wednesday, which impacted all public high schools across the province.
