Excitement in Grimsby with the recent grand opening of the expanded and renovated Peach King Centre.
Niagara West MPP Sam Oosterhoff joined Mayor Jeff Jordan and others last week, now that the $36.7-million project, started in 2024, is done.
The provincial government contributed $16-million back in 2021.
Highlights include a dividable double gym with an indoor walking track, multi-use community rooms, fitness centre, improvements to the West Pad dressing rooms, and, outside improvements are in the parking lot, and new pedestrian walkways.
Mayor Jordan says this, along with the opening of the West Lincoln Memorial hospital, adds even more to investment in health and well-being of the community.
