Summerfest has been cancelled due to COVID-19.
Pelham Town Council decided to pull the plug Monday night.
Mayor Marvin Junkin says it was the right decision but that doesn’t make it any less painful.
He adds there is no conceivable way to hold the festival we know and love this year.
The 10th annual Summerfest was supposed to kick off on Thursday July 16th and wrap up on Sunday July 19th.
More than 30,000 people attended the four-day festival last year.
