A by-election will be held in Pelham to fill an empty seat on Town Council.
Ward 1 Councillor Mike Ciolfi passed away last month and the by-election will determine who will fill his council seat.
Only those who live in Ward 1 will be able to cast their ballot this fall.
Town Clerk Nancy Bozzato says holding a by-election during a pandemic will have its challenges, but staff will make sure that it’s completed safely and securely.
The town’s Election Reserve will cover the cost of the by-election, which should range between $10,000 and $15,000.
Information regarding dates, timelines and candidate information will be posted on the town’s website online here.
