Harvest pie festival will take place October 5th
If you like to bake pies, the City of St. Catharines wants to hear from you.
A harvest pie festival is taking place this fall in support of local charities.
The event will be held on October 5th at Market Square.
"The City is happy to support this event and extends a warm invitation to all local bakers and small businesses to join as vendors," said Deanna Chakarova, the City's market coordinator. "This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase some delicious creations and support local charities while connecting with the community."
Nine inch pies will be sold at $25 each, while four inch pies will be priced at $15.
For each pie sold, $5 will be donated to a charity of the baker's choice.
During the event, visitors will also get to check out live music and the St. Catharines Farmers Market.
