Fourteen businesses targeted.
Two people have been arrested following a string of break and enters.
The incidents, which took place in St. Catharines and Niagara Falls, involve 13 restaurants and a gas station.
Police say in each incident, glass windows or doors were smashed, and cash and valuable items were taken.
In some cases, a suspect would enter the business and fled to a waiting getaway car.
Yesterday, police arrested 44 year old Matthew Scott Ryce of no fixed address and 31 year old Hillary Mary Lee Harris of Niagara Falls.
