Police found almost $115,000 worth of fentanyl and cocaine after searching car and house
Police stopping more cocaine and fentanyl from reaching the streets of Niagara.
Last month they started a certain investigation in Niagara Falls, which led them to watching a man doing what appeared to be drug dealing, he was caught late yesterday afternoon after a foot chase.
Using search warrants, police looked through his car and home on McLeod Road, and found:
- 272.2 grams suspected fentanyl (street value $59,884)
- 450.4 grams suspected cocaine (street value $54,048)
- 51 Hydromorphone tablets (street value $1020)
- 2 Replica handguns
- 1 Crossbow
- 6 Throwing Knives
Police have charged 33-year old Cody Costiff of Niagara Falls with 5 counts of trafficking, and 29-year old Kaitlyn Madill of Niagara Falls for not complying with probation.
They both had bail hearings today.
