Two suspects left with cash and lottery tickets
Niagara police are asking for the public's help to identify a pair of suspects involved in an armed robbery.
Around 12:30 this morning, officers were called to Gales Gas Bar on Collier Road South in Thorold.
Investigators say two men robbed the gas station while brandishing a firearm.
The men fled on foot before police arrived, taking an undisclosed amount of money and lottery tickets.
No one was injured.
The first suspect is described as a white man with a medium build.
He was wearing a grey mask, a grey baseball cap and grey pants.
He also had a short sleeve button up shirt with red and blue stripes and black and white Adidas running shoes.
The other suspect is described as a man with a medium build.
He was wearing a black baseball cap with a red bandana underneath, a black bandana covering his face and a long sleeve white shirt with blue stripes.
Nearby residents and businesses are asked to check any security footage they may have taken between 11:30 p.m. August 8th and 1:00 a.m. this morning.
