Victim punched several times after argument with suspect
Niagara Regional Police are asking for help identifying an assault suspect.
On July 10th, a 60 year old man was repeatedly punched at a restaurant patio in St. Catharines on St. Paul Street near James Street.
The victim was hospitalized with serious injuries, but has since been released.
Investigators say the victim was punched several times and knocked to the ground after a verbal argument with the suspect.
The suspect and the group of people he was sitting with walked from the patio eastbound along St. Paul Street.
The suspect is described as follows:
- White male, 35-40 years of age
- Short with a slim build
- Short blonde hair with possibly a moustache
The suspect was wearing:
- A large long sleeve black t-shirt with a logo on the front.
- Blue jeans
- White Adidas sneakers
