The NRP is investigating an indecent act in Welland's Merritt Park.
Police say a woman caught a man doing it in a bush on Merritt Island yesterday morning.
He allegedly tried to approach her with a knife so she threw her coffee on him and he left.
The woman was not hurt and the man was last seen heading down the trails.
Police are looking for a South Asian man in his 20s, standing at about 5'10 with a thin build and dark scruffy facial hair.
He was wearing a dark hat, a black hoodie with a grey and red design, blue jeans and dark shoes.
The man also had a lighter skin tone and he was covering his face with a black scarf at the time.
Anyone with information should contact the NRP.
