One person hospitalized with minor injuries
One person has been arrested after a crash in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
Around 9:30 p.m. last night, emergency crews were called to a three vehicle collision near Scott Street and Stewart Road.
Investigators say a green Chevrolet pickup truck flipped after it was hit by a grey Toyota.
While the vehicles were in the middle of the road, they were both hit by a silver Land Rover, forcing the truck into a nearby ditch.
One person was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Police say the truck was totaled.
Damage to the Land Rover is estimated at about $20,000, and damage to the Toyota is around $7,000.
The driver of the Toyota, a 70 year old St. Catharines man, was charged with making an improper turn.
The road re-opened at 11:19 p.m.
