Officers died while responding to disturbance call

A second police officer has died after being critically injured during a disturbance call north of Toronto.
He was taken to hospital, where he passed away.

Another tragedy for police in Ontario.
One officer has been killed in the line of duty and another is fighting for his life, after the pair were shot during a disturbance call north of Toronto last night.
The South Simcoe Police Service says, in a release, it happened at a home in the town of Innisfil, south of Barrie, just before 8 p-m.
Both were rushed to a nearby hospital, where one died.
The other officer had to be airlifted to a Toronto trauma centre, where he remains in critical condition.
The suspect was killed following an interaction with police.
Toronto police have lost some of their officers in recent weeks while on the job.
