Police say it's to raise awareness and act as deterrence
In an attempt to stop people from drinking and driving, Niagara regional police are releasing the names of those charged with alleged impaired driving in the region.
Police have released 22 names, the majority from Niagara, who were charged between December 18th and New Years Eve.
Police add each driver, the youngest being 18, the oldest 81, have been given a 90 day licence suspensions.
