Turns out a man had a pellet gun in his yard, police shut the area down for caution
Police taking no chances over the weekend after reports of a man with a weapon in a yard in Fort Erie.
Police showed up yesterday, just after 10am, to the scene on Crescent Road, near Hollywood Street.
Out of abundance of caution, they shut down a portion of Crescent Road, only to find out a man had a pellet gun in his yard.
Police add nothing criminal had taken place, no one was arrested, and no charges laid.
The road was closed for about an hour, and there was no risk to public safety.
