Port Cares is bringing back it's much-loved Soupfest event in a COVID-safe manner.
From 11:30 AM until 5:00 PM on Tuesday, March 30th, Port Cares' Reach Out Centre will host a takeout soup fundraiser.
For $25, customers will get 4 soups, 4 freshly baked biscuits and 4 freshly baked cookies.
All money raised will benefit the Port Cares Food Bank.
This year's menu includes the fully-vegetarian minestrone soup, as well as Caldosa Cubana - a hearty soup made up of chicken, pork, potatoes, root vegetables and sofrito.
You can also enjoy the classic Italian wedding soup - a chicken broth based soup with mini meatballs and pasta.
To buy a ticket, go to the Port Cares location at 92 Charlotte Street during opening hours or send an e-transfer to donations@portcares.ca.
To pick up your soup, head to the drive-thru area of the Reach Out Centre at the corner of Nickel and Mitchell Street in Port Colborne on the day of the event.
