Police have charged a 36-year-old man from Port Colborne, in relation to a break and enter in his hometown.
They were called out to an apartment building on Victoria Ave yesterday.
Witnesses had reported hearing noises coming from the laundry room and they say the door was wedged closed.
NRP officers arrested the man after further investigation.
He has been charged with break and enter, possession of break in instruments and breach of probation.
