Port Dover has a clear message for bikers: the next Friday the 13th, stay home.
The CBC reporting, during a council in committee meeting this week, the head of paramedic services says while we will have a grand number of people vaccinated by August 13th, having visitors from all over the province puts unnecessary stress on our health teams, residents and EMS.
The town's fire department and the OPP agree, and also recommend council use all means necessary to deter attendance and participation.
Bikers have been gathering in the lakeside town on each Friday the 13th since 1981.
