More provincial money for the Niagara region to improve ambulance service.

The government says it's increasing land ambulance funding to Niagara by 11%, bringing the government's total investment in the region to almost $35.4-million this year.

There will also be another $1.8-million through the Dedicated Offload Nurses program to hire more nurses to help with offloading patients at emergency rooms, to reduce delays.

The government adds this is part of more than $1-billion province wide, representing an increase of 9% from 2025, and has reduced offload time by roughly 68% since it peaked in October of 2022.
