The Ontario government is temporarily shortening G license road tests in order to help clear the backlog caused by the pandemic.
A spokesperson for Transportation Minister Caroline Mulroney tells Toronto media that until at least March 31st, the province is removing duplicative elements of the test, such as three point turns, road side stops and parallel parking.
Elements that will still be evaluated include highway and major road driving.
The representative also noted that the temporary measure could extend past March 31st.
