City of Niagara Falls looking for ideas to solve the problem, council given responses in June

The City of Niagara Falls is looking for community input in how to deal with homelessness.

There will be an open house a week Thursday at the MacBain Community Centre, the public is invited to drop by anytime.

There will be two sessions, from 9 to 11, and 4 to 6pm, you don't have to be there for the whole thing, you can give your thoughts by doing a short survey.

The city adds the Unhoused Action Plan will guide a more coordinated response to the problem in Niagara Falls, including hunger, public drug use, and disruptive behaviour.

The city's former Chief Administrative Officer Ken Todd is leading this, all input presented to city council in June.
