Environment Canada has issued warnings for parts of southern Ontario, stretching from Hamilton and Niagara to Chatham-Kent and Windsor.
The weather office says today through tomorrow night, about 15 to 25 mm of rain is expected in Niagara.
Showers are expected to redevelop tonight and persist into the early morning hours.
There could also be widespread rain tomorrow afternoon into the evening.
Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible, and residents are advised to keep children and pets away from creeks and river banks.
