A tractor trailer filled with cleanup equipment is in Jordan, joining other volunteer groups
Volunteers from a variety of organizations across Canada continue to help residents sorting through the mess after the floods.
Samaritan's Purse Canada sent one of its disaster relief units, a tractor trailer filled with equipment, to support St. Catharines and Lincoln families.
It is stationed at New Hope Church Niagara West in Jordan.
Volunteers with Samaritan's Purse have been helping, at no cost to residents, to clean up debris, flood damaged items, drywall, and spraying areas to prevent mold.
The group also works with Mennonite Disaster Service and Christian Aid Ministries, but there's also the reminder there are scammers and unlicenced contractors, looking to exploit those needing help.
