Starts at 9 am tomorrow morning
Shoppers Drug Mart announcing 24 of its locations across the province will take part in a "24 Hour Vax-A-Thon" tomorrow.
The Vax-A-Thon is for Ontarians 18 or older.
Shoppers officials say the goal is to deliver thousands of COVID vaccinations in a single day particularly for those struggling to book an appointment during traditional hours.
Sarah Ahmad, Senior Vice President, Health and Wellness for Shoppers Drug Mart says "For 24 hours, our stores will host walk-in appointments for first or second shots, on a first-come, first served basis. We know there's still demand, and we want to continue to be part of the solution."
The only store participating in Niagara is the Shopper's Drug Mart on Lundy's Lane in Niagara Falls.
The Vax-A-Thon starts at 9:00 tomorrow morning for 24 hours.
