The Ontario government is transitioning Toronto, Peel and North Bay-Parry Sound out of shutdown and into the colour-coded COVID-19 response framework.
Toronto and Peel will be in the grey-lockdown stage, and North Bay-Parry Sound District will be placed in the red zone.
The Stay-at-home order is no longer in effect.
Ontario Deputy Premier and Minister of Health Christine Elliott warns that Ontarians still need to exercise caution.
"Despite this positive step forward, a return to the Framework is not a return to normal. As we continue vaccinating more Ontarians, it remains critical for everyone to continue to follow public health measures and stay home as much as possible to protect themselves, their loved ones and their communities."
The changes will take effect on Monday.
