The SIU has found no reason to charge an NRP officer, after a man fractured his nose during an arrest in St. Catharines.
Reports say the officer was patrolling downtown St. Catharines back in April, when he spotted the man smoking a crack pipe.
The man smashed the pipe on the ground and spoke with the officer.
The officer found out that he had been wanted in relation to two outstanding warrants.
The man fought with the officer during his arrest and was taken to hospital afterwards.
