Niagara Falls councillor Chris Dabrowski noted a few exceptions over the last few weeks, city staff to address
Now that the worst of winter appears to be behind us, a Niagara Falls city councillor is applauding residents for keeping sidewalks clear.
Chris Dabrowski adds the city did a good job of making sure most roads were clear.
However, he did receive calls about Canada Post Community mailboxes being snowed in. "It was no fault of the residents, since the residents had cleared the sidewalks. But by the time they got to their mailboxes, it was like Mt. Everest trying to get to the mail. And Canada Post was just on strike, they're getting back to the swing of things."
City staff say it's Canada Post responsibility to clear that snow, a letter will be sent to Canada Post asking about this.
