Software company Sprout Studio commits to paying Niagara's living wage.
There's a new living wage employer in town!
The Niagara Poverty Reduction Network says Sprout Studio has become a certified living wage employer at the Champion level.
The St. Catharines software company has 16 employees.
It's the latest in a growing number of businesses to commit to paying at least $18.90 an hour, which is the current living wage in Niagara.
The living wage reflects what workers need to make based on the costs of living and being involved in a community.
