An Interim Control By-Law for cannabis facilities could be implemented in St. Catharines.
Councillor Carlos Garcia will bring forward a motion at tonight's council meeting.
He would like the by-law to be effective immediately.
If it's approved, it would prohibit cannabis production facilities from operating in the Garden City.
Garcia would also like council to approve $75,000 for a land-use study.
The money would taken out of the Civic Project Fund.
