You will have to wear a mask, face shield or another type of face covering in order to visit the St. Catharines Farmers Market.
It will reopen this Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. but there will be strict safety protocols in place.
Only 16 people will be allowed in at a time, you must stand six feet apart from others and follow the traffic flow lines.
You will also have to sanitize your hands before entering and you will not be able to handle or sample food.
Reusable bags will not be permitted.
Only food vendors will be able to sell their products in the market.
They also must wear face masks and they will have to frequently wash and sanitize their hands.
They’re also being asked to pre-package their products whenever possible.
If they choose to accept cash payments, they will need a second person on site to handle the cash.
The market will only open on Saturdays for the time being.
