The St. Catharines GM Plant is going to be one of the first to reopen in North America.
The automaker is hoping to open most of its plants in Canada and the U.S. on May 18th.
But officials say a portion of the HFV6 assembly line in St. Catharines will resume on Monday, May 11th.
They say production at the CAMI plant in Ingersoll and the plant in Oshawa will gradually come back in the weeks that follow.
