Police say this case could go back 25-years
A 55-year old St. Catharines man has been charged with sexual assault offences, possibly dating back 25 years.
Last month police started investigating after two teenage girls reported assaults between May of last year and this past January.
The suspect was an acquaintance of the victim's families, police say the offences happened in a St. David's home.
Yesterday, police arrested Shawn Hollingsworth, who has a bail hearing today.
He's charged with:
- Sexual Assault (two counts)
- Sexual Interference (two counts)
Police believe there could be more victims, due to the history of this case.
