She says the Ford Government as has failed to deal with the long-term care crisis, that was left behind by the Liberals.
St. Catharines NDP MPP Jennie Stevens says the people in long-term care homes don't get the care they deserve, and thousands of others are on waitlists to get in.
She would like the province to back the Official Opposition NDP's Bill 13, also known as the Time to Care Act.
Stevens says it would address the shortage of personal support workers in long-term care homes.
It also calls for an average of four hours of hands-on PSW care for each resident on a daily basis.
The bill was introduced by Teresa Armstrong, the NDP MPP for London-Fanshawe.
