A grim anniversary in the fight against COVID-19.
It was on January 23rd, patient zero or the first person to be diagnosed with COVID in this country was admitted to hospital.
The man had just returned from China, where a new viral disease was spreading.
His wife was later diagnosed with the virus as well.
Both made a full recovery but it marked the beginning of the pandemic in Canada.
