The Town of Pelham will be lowering their flags in tribute to those who have died of COVID-19 over the past year.
The flags at all Town facilities will be lowered to half-mast from March 12th-14th, coinciding with the one-year marking of the region's first case of the virus as well as the closing of Town Hall on March 13th, 2020.
Over 300 local lives have been lost to the disease.
The Town is urging residents to continue following COVID-19 safety measures such as wearing a mask, social distancing and frequent handwashing.
