If you have taken a drive down Lakeshore Road in Wainfleet lately you may have noticed new signage in the area.
The township has installed new signs to warn drivers about the speed limit and other road conditions.
The two sets of Centreline PedZone signs also restrict each lane to 3 or 4 metres to make drivers slow down and pay attention.
This is all part of a traffic calming pilot program and Mayor Kevin Gibson has heard positive feedback from local residents.
The township is also planning to install radar detection signs in the Quarry Road area.
