Two men from the Niagara region are being awarded with one of the country's highest civilian honours.
John Peller of Niagara on-the-Lakes Peller Estates Winery, and SCTV actor Dave Thomas, who is from St. Catharines, are among 114 people named to the Order of Canada today.
Governor General Julie Payette's office made the announcement this morning.
Others being inducted this year include Olympic ice dancers Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir,
