Welland Man Charged with Child Porn

Police searched a Welland home after an investigation started in April

A Welland man has been charged after an investigation by police into child porn.

Police say this particular investigation started in April, leading them to searching a Welland home last week.

As a result of looking through digital devices, police arrested 24-year old David Ryan Jones earlier today, charged with accessing Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation material, and two counts of possessing it.

He remains in custody, with a bail hearing today.
