A heads up to drivers in Port Colborne.
Construction on the West Street extension bridge is set to begin on Tuesday, September 7th.
The City of Port Colborne had previously stated the work would begin on September 1st.
The work is expected to be finished by December 3rd, and West Street will be closed between Clarence Street and Park Street while the construction is underway.
Detour and road closure signs will be posted.
Local storefront businesses will remain open, and alternate parking for West Street storefronts can be found on Clarence Street.
