Collision happened Friday in Niagara-on-the-Lake
Tragedy for the family of an 81-year-old woman from Niagara on the Lake.
Niagara police say they were called to a collision between a pedestrian and cyclist Friday afternoon, on Queenston Street near Dee Road.
They say it appears the woman began crossing Queenston when she was hit by a 64-year-old cyclist.
Despite many attempts to save her, she was pronounced dead at hospital.
Police are asking for anyone with further information, including any dashcam video, to call them.
