A Welland man is charged with 1st degree murder, after police found the two people within the house
A 36-year old Welland man is facing a 1st degree murder charge after a woman was found dead in a Welland home.
Police were called to scene just before 2, yesterday afternoon, in a neighbourhood near Prince Charles Drive and Thorold Road.
They found the dead woman inside, but also a man who was taken into custody.
Police say Christopher Bobko remains in custody, with a bail hearing today.
Police believe this was isolated, and there's no evidence to indicate risk of safety to the public.
That is all police have told us to this point.
