Heavy Rain and Thunderstorms Spark Special Weather Statement

A special weather statement has been issued for the Niagara Region.

According to Environment Canada, we could be in for thunderstorms and about 20 to 40 milimetres of heavy rain early this afternoon.

The rain and thunderstorms could also continue into the evening hours.

This could make the roads quite slippery out there, so make sure you drive carefully.
