The daily COVID-19 case count in Niagara remains steady.
Niagara Region Public Health is confirming 17 new COVID-19 infections today.
As of this morning, there are four Niagara Health patients with the virus, and three of them are in the ICU.
There are four active outbreaks and 144 active cases in the region.
Just over 657,000 vaccinations have been administered, and about 71.9 percent of Niagara residents have their first shot.
Meanwhile, 65.2 percent of local residents are fully immunized against the virus.
