21 New COVID-19 Cases in Niagara

Niagara Health reporting ten patients with the virus.

Niagara Public Health confirming 21 new COVID-19 cases today. 

Officials say the death toll remains steady at 439. 

Ten people are battling the virus within Niagara Health, and one person is in the ICU. 

Four of the patients are fully vaccinated. 

There are 11 active outbreaks in the region and 189 active cases. 

St. Catharines has 64 active cases, followed by Welland with 22 and Niagara Falls with 19. 

Over 748,000 vaccinations have been administered in the region. 

About 77.9 percent of local residents have one dose and 75.3 percent are fully immunized.
