26 New COVID-19 Cases in Niagara

Seventeen people remain hospitalized.

A slight increase in new COVID-19 cases in the region today.

Public health officials reporting 26 new infections in Niagara.

Seventeen people are fighting the virus within Niagara Health, and three patients are in ICUs.

Nine of the patients are unvaccinated.

There are 12 active outbreaks and 236 active cases, with the highest numbers in St. Catharines, Niagara Falls and Lincoln.

Over 742,000 doses have been administered in the region.

About 77.7 percent of Niagara residents have at least one dose, and 75 percent are fully immunized.
