Another person has died of COVID-19 in Niagara.
Niagara Region Public Health is reporting 29 new COVID-19 infections today.
The death toll is now at 428, after the death of a person in the 60-79 age group.
Niagara Health is reporting seven patients with the virus, and three are in the ICU.
Only one of the patients is fully vaccinated.
There are 285 active cases and 11 active outbreaks in Niagara.
More than 688,000 doses have been administered in the region.
To date, about 74.5 percent of Niagara residents have one shot and 68.8 percent have a complete series.
