Niagara South MP told parliament of problems at 2 Niagara EV plants
A challenge from Niagara South MP to the federal government that it stop financially supporting foreign made electric vehicles.
Fred Davies told parliament yesterday auto exports fell to their lowest level in years in January.
He added more than 5,000 auto workers have lost their jobs. "In Niagara alone, I have 2 EV plants that have neither opened, or been delayed because of the declining EV market, yet the Liberals are subsidizing foreign made vehicles, it makes no sense at all."
The Parliamentary Secretary for Immigration simply said the government has a plan, backed by unions.
