This happened while a man slept after leaving St. Catharines bar
Police have made a 2nd arrest in relation to an overnight stabbing and robbery in St. Catharines last year.
At around 4:30am, October 5th, police were called to the Niagara and Queenston Street area, to find a man had left a bar, and was sleeping outside, when he was stabbed multiple times, and his cell phone stolen.
A couple of days later, police arrested 48-year old Mark Formanek, of no fixed address, charging him with attempted murder, and disguise with intent.
Police also say the victim was recovering, and that they were looking for a 2nd man, wanted for taking the man's cell phone after the attack, and not helping him.
On February 26th, police arrested 36-year old Kyle Cormier of no fixed address, charged with theft under $5,000, he was released with a future court date.
