34 New COVID-19 cases in Niagara

The number of new COVID-19 cases have dipped in Niagara as the number of deaths has risen.

Niagara Public Health has announced 34 new cases of the virus and 13 more deaths.

Our death toll is now at 324.

There are 1062 active cases, with the highest amounts being reported in St. Catharines, Niagara Falls and Welland.

There are 43 active outbreaks, and fifty people are fighting the virus in our local hospitals.

Throughout Ontario, there were 745 new cases announced today, including 334 in Peel and 124 in York Region.

Today's Toronto numbers are unavailable, as Toronto Public Health has migrated data to the provincial system.

The migration is expected to result in fluctuations in reported cases over the coming days.
