There are seventy Niagara Health patients with the virus, including twelve in ICUs.
Twenty-seven of the patients are unvaccinated, and one has one dose.
Half of the ICU patients aren't vaccinated.
Throughout Niagara, there are 2,734 active cases, including 751 in St. Catharines, 562 in Niagara Falls, 293 in Grimsby and 228 in Welland.
There are also 22 active outbreaks.
Just over 850,000 vaccinations have been administered.
About 81 percent of eligible Niagara residents have one vaccination, and 76.3 percent have two.
