Police looking for video surveillance to find perpetrator(s)
Niagara Regional police looking into what happened after a 50-year old man was assaulted in Welland.
Officers were called yesterday afternoon, just after 4, to the Third and King Street area over reports of an assault.
They found just prior to the noon hour, earlier in the day, the victim was assaulted in the Burgar Street area of Welland, where he suffered minor injuries.
Police are asking for anyone who might have seen anything to give them a call.
They say the victim was wearing a dark winter jacket, and possibly walking north on Burgar when the assault happened.
